The harmony of just a few colours can evoke peace and calm.  The dark to light in this painting represents the breaking dawn and the sun rising on a new day.
 
An original mixed media painting using collage, paint, pencil and charcoal.
The artwork is built up using many different layers to create texture and interest.  A process which develops and changes over several sessions, until I'm completely happy with the end result.
