Erosion
'Erosion' captures the quiet tension between calm and change, using a richly textured surface. A calm sea  grounds the composition, while above it, the sky softens into pink and blue hues reminiscent of a fading sunset. 
 
Though the sea appears still, the heavily worked textures suggest a narrative of time, weather, and elemental force—etched into the very fabric of the painting, evoking the slow, beautiful decay that nature impresses on all things.
