I wrangled with this painting for quite a while.  But once I made the decision to cover most of it up with the soothing green, it suddenly felt right.  Making bold choices can feel difficult at the time, but often result in a better outcome.  This was one of those.
 
An original mixed media painting using collage, paint, oil pastel and acrylic markers.
The artwork is built up using many different layers to create texture and interest.  A process which develops and changes over several sessions, until I'm completely happy with the end result.
