One of a small series of three.  Exploring the harmony of colours, mark making and texture.  This was the start of my look at the Dereliction series which came after these panels.  I particularly love the soft colours against the strong black lines and figures.
 
An original mixed media painting using collage, paint, oil pastel and acrylic markers.
The artwork is built up using many different layers to create texture and interest.  A process which develops and changes over several sessions, until I'm completely happy with the end result.
