Inspired by peeling paint, and worn signs weathered by years of neglect.  The colours evoke calm, and rural spaces, so the name feels quite fitting. 
 
An original mixed media painting using collage, paint, oil pastel and acrylic markers.
The artwork is built up using many different layers to create texture and interest.  A process which develops and changes over several sessions, until I'm completely happy with the end result.
