This painting reminded me of Portreath Harbour in Cornwall, with its multiple harbours and long wall to protect the boats from the open water and storms. 
The orange and brown hues evokes an autumnal feel with marks and stencilling to provide differences and interest.
 
An original mixed media painting using collage, paint, oil pastel and acrylic markers.
The artwork is built up using many different layers to create texture and interest.  A process which develops and changes over several sessions, until I'm completely happy with the end result.
